Shadows of Time is a bengali language movie released in 2004. This movie was directed by Florian Gallenberger and produced by Helmut Dietl, Norbert Preuss. Music was directed by Gert Wilden Jr.
Movie Name: Shadows of TimeStory: The film starts with Ravi (Soumitra Chatterjee) who was driving to an abandoned old carpet factory in West Bengal. While exploring the factory finds his bed and some other things that triggered strong old memories. The story flashbacks to pre-independent India in 1940s with Ravi who was working very hard and saving his money with a hope to leave the factory one day. There was a girl as well in that factory whom Ravi helped to escape.

Few Years later Ravi leaves the factory and goes to Kolkata. He begins to work for Associate in Nursing previous carpet trafficker and his grandchild, Deepa (Tillotama Shome). Masha (Tannishtha Chatterjee) has become an expert fancy woman in metropolis, romanced by a customs officer, Yani Mishra (Irrfan Khan). Masha goes to the Shiva temple each full phase of the moon to presumably meet Ravi, even Ravi himself is attempting to look for her. They virtually at last meet one night, however are separated by the possibility arrival of Deepa, and Masha thinks that Deepa is Ravi’s woman. Masha decides to marry Yani, and Ravi, starts to think that Masha has forgotten him, finally marries Deepa.
