Proloy is a new Kolkata bengali film that was released in August 2013. It was directed by Raj Chakraborty and came out under the banner of Shree Venkatesh Films. Indradeep Dasgupta was the music director.
Name: ProloyPlot: The story of this movie starts with Barun Biswas, a brave guy who raises his voice against numerous gang rapes that occurred in Dukhiya village. With the influence of some political leaders, gang rape becomes a festival in Dukhiya village. They do not event leave the elderly and children. The police also keeps quite and refuses to file any report against these powerful criminals. When Barun raises his voice and forms the villagers to stand against those culprits, he gets killed.
